Alexander Yashin, USU student, implements the project for visually impaired children

A first-year student of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Rehabilitation together with a team of supporters  implemented a hockey team project for visually impaired children. The idea arose at the end of 2020, the  team  received their first funding a year ago from the Kontinental Hockey League and one of the betting companies.

The list of achievements of the young team includes the recent second place at the final competition of the season, the All–Russian festival "Hockey Family Fest 2022" in Sochi.

"We help children not only to strengthen their health and physical form, but also to adapt to society. I myself have a disability due to poor eyesight, but I managed to achieve success in hockey, which means that they will succeed"
