University linguists are organizing an international forum with the participation of colleagues from Belarus, Turkey and Morocco

The Institute of International Relations of USU in partnership with the Directorate of Ulyanovsk – UNESCO Creative City organized the VI International Linguistic and Cultural Conference "Man and Text" dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin.

The problems of linguoculturology, theoretical and applied linguistics, translation studies, and literary studies were discussed in full-time and online formats at the forum at the regional art museum. The program included a  "Topical issues of studying the literary heritage of A.S. Pushkin in Russia and abroad" round table meeting.

Natalia Krasheninnikova, Director of the Institute of International Relations of Ulyanovsk State University, Luisa Bayura, Chief Researcher of the Art Museum, Elena Cherkas, Head of the Directorate of Ulyanovsk – UNESCO Creative City opened the conference. Representatives of the office of the literary city of Kahramanmarash (Turkey), Professor Selim Somuncu, Director of the State Literary and Memorial Museum of Yakub Kolas (Minsk) Irina Matyas, lecturer at Ibn Tofail University (Kenitra, Morocco) Louise Drissa and other researchers also spoke at the conference.
