International Forum at USU Brings Together Researchers from Russia, Armenia, Bulgaria, and Beyond

The Institute of Economics and Business at Ulyanovsk State University (USU) hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Economy and Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century: New Realities, Fresh Solutions.” The event was organized by Director of the Institute of Economics and Business Irina Romanova, Head of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship Ekaterina Rozhkova, and Associate Professor Ksenia Myzrova, with the support of their colleagues.

The plenary session, held in an online format, gathered prominent scholars from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, and the Czech Republic. Notable presentations were delivered by representatives of the Russian-Armenian University, the Executive Agency for Electronic Governance Infrastructure under the Ministry of e-Government of Bulgaria (Sofia), and Sumgait State University.

The plenary session also featured talks by Professor Nina Voskolovich from Lomonosov Moscow State University and Senior Researcher of the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrey Krivorotov.

Researchers from Moscow, Vladimir, Crimea, Ufa, Penza, Saratov, and Ulyanovsk accepted the invitation to participate.

Following the plenary session, sectional meetings were held with the participation of faculty members, postgraduate students, master’s students, and undergraduates.

The conference proceedings will be published and indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).
