The results of the world university ranking "Round University Ranking" (RUR) have been published. USU is the only Ulyanovsk university included in the rating. The flagship university took 80th place among the universities of the Russian Federation and entered the top 800 best world universities (778th place) in the category "Technical Sciences"  and also took the 56th place among the universities of the Russian Federation (out of 62) and 658th place (out of 729) in the world in the category "Natural Sciences".
